Trying it again

O.K. It has been about 14 months since I last updated this blog. No entries for the entire 2009 year. I obviously am not the high tech person I would like to be. :)

Well, I am going to try it again. A New Year's resolution!! Try to update this blog once a week. O.K., maybe once a month. Small steps first.

We're Back

We just got back from China! We had a great trip but are really tired right now. Thanks for praying. We could really tell that people were praying for us.

I will update this again tomorrow.

Heading to China

We are scheduled to go to China beginning November 5. We could really use your prayers for our trip to remain healthy, for safety and that God would be glorified through us during this trip.

Following is our schedule for the trip:

We fly out of Minneapolis on Wednesday, November 5 at 1:00 pm, change planes in Tokyo and arrive in Beijing on Thursday evening, November 6 at 9:40 pm. Total trip time including a short layover in Tokyo is about 19 hours.

Friday - Sunday, Nov 7 - 9 - time spent in Beijing
Monday & Tuesday, Nov 10 & 11 - In Shenyang visiting staff members
Wednesday & Thursday, Nov 12 & 13 - In Wuhan visiting staff members
Friday - Sunday, Nov 14 - 16 - In Chengdu visiting staff members and facilitating a 1 1/2 day workshop on team dynamics with the Chengdu team.
Monday - Wednesday, Nov. 17 - 19 - In Kunming visiting staff members.
Thursday & Friday, Nov 20 - 21 - In Macau & Hong Kong visiting staff members
Saturday, Nov. 22 - Fly from Hong Kong at 8:35 am & arrive in Minneapolis at 11:10 am (same day). Total trip time including a short layover in Tokyo is about 17 1/2 hours.
